One Reverend, Joseph Ma'aji wey dey Barnawa, Kaduna, wey dem accuse say im rape 16-year-old house girl don enta remand for National Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) hand on Tuesday. Na Chief Magistrate Court for Kaduna run di mata. 




Di Chief Magistrate, Bashir Shittu, order say make dem remand Ma'aji until dey receive advise from office of director of Public Prosecution.


Di Magistrate tok say di court nor get power to judge di mata of di persin wey dem accuse for di rape mata.


"Even though di law say make dem carry dat kain persin go court wey near am. na why we bring di mata come her until police conclude dia investigation and dem send di case file go ministry of justice.


"Di lawyers for di ministry of justice go go through di fact wey dey inside di case file , if dey find sufficient evidence, dem go charge am go high court.


"We go also transfer you go High Court make trial for start. If we no find any evidence, we go discharge you and di case go stop" Na so di Magistrate tok.

Dem don shift di case enta Aug. 25 beforedem chuk mouth enta again.

NSCDC legal officer wey dey ontop di mata, Yayayi Jauro, don tok say on July 1, di state social welfare office in Kakuri, Kaduna, na im report di case of sexual harassment plus join indecency agaonst di Reverend.


Jauro yarn say dem don report Ma'aji many times say im dey sex di under age house girl wey di girl uncle say make im dey wit di Reverend. Di girl don dey di Reverend house for Kaduna since 2015.


Jauro add am say Ma'aji don dey molest di girl and still dey request sex from di girl. Im don even confess say true-true, im do am.
