Di petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria and di Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers don threaten for one letter wey dem write give Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva.


The union don disagree wit plan of di Office of di Accountant-General of di federation to register oil workers dem for IPPIS platform.

Di letter wey dem write for June 19, 2020, dey jointly signed by di General Secretaries of PENGASSAN and NUPENG, Lumumgba Okagbawa and Olawale Afolabi.

Di unions dem say, why dem no wan gree for dis IPPIS mata bi say e no consider di differences wey dey oil and gas sector as e take relate wit bargaining agreement and approved pay structure wey dey between di unions and Federal Government.

"We don talk am again say di industrial peace wey dey di sector nor fit dey guaranteed if salary of our members stop or if dem implement am and we nor get hand for inside," Na so di union yarn.

Afolabi confam am say di union go go on strike if di government nor gree listen to dem.
